Welcome to the website of the Lord of Lucies. We are in the process of updating this site with the history of the manorial title, and how it happened to be passed to Craig Walsh — the current Lord of Lucies — and his wife Marjorie, the current Lady of Lucies. There is some preliminary information here --- and we will be adding more in the days and weeks ahead. This website previously just had links to our other websites — it was a bit like a maitre d', directing you to your table. As we add more content to this website, we hope folks will have a reason to visit it for its own sake. For example, we have now added a detailed family history website here, and have traced some of our ancestors back to the 1500's. This site contains mainy facts and figures: for some of the background "story" please visit www.craigwalsh.eu. Life at Lucies Farm Ltd. is recorded in our online photo gallery and we have just started a website selling stock photographs --- at www.hmdp.net The Lucies Farm Ltd. e-commerce website is at www.luciesfarm.com --- but you can also visit our old, and very much out-of-date, Flash website here. We thought it was so swish at the time: it makes me cringe now. All of our knowledge about raising cattle in the traditional Kobe style is here. We run a luxury dog hotel which is run in connection with the Ritz Canine, our luxury dog spa. And Marjorie has recently written a book called Cooking for Dogs. For her thoughts on canine nutrition, and possibly to order a copy of her book, please visit www.cookingfordogs.info And we are trying to convert a semi-ancient woodland that we own — Lord's Wood — into a green burial ground. News of our progress, and a place to comment on green burial issues, is at our forum. Thank you for your visit. If you have comments on anything here, have found a typo, or if I can be of assistance, please don't hesitate to e-mail me at craig@lordoflucies.com Last updated - 1 June 2008 - Copyright © 2008 Lord of Lucies Calcium Calendar Track-It |
